Egg-stra fun in store at Folly Farm this Easter break…
A day out with us is always fun – with our award winning zoo, farm, fair and numerous play areas to explore. But we’re super egg-cited to have lots of eggs-tra treats in store over the Easter school holidays which run daily from 28 March – 12 April. You’re sure to have cracking time (we love the Easter puns)!
We will have our brand new Easter Eggsplorers Egg Hunt activity to enjoy. Guests simply need to collect an activity form and pencil from admissions when arriving at the park. Make your way around various animal enclosures across the farm and zoo – following the clues and map as you go. Complete the questions and learn all about various animal eggs (it’s not just hens that lay them you know)! There’s an egg-stra special treat for those who complete the hunt too!
Our Entertainments team can’t wait to have lots of fun with our guests this Easter. There’ll be planned activities in the barn such as a ‘match the egg’ game, as well as quill writing. The team will also have a ‘nest discovery table’ in the barn!
Over at the ‘Fairground Tavern’, guests can *decorate their very own mini chocolate Easter Egg. Sprinkles? Iced flowers? We’ve got you covered!
Get your sparkle on and grab those *glitter tattoos from the Entertainment team in the fair in the afternoons over the school holidays.
But that’s not all – we have lots of spring theming around the park and some photo op areas for you to capture those Easter family photos.

Don’t forget – our farm team run an array of ‘meet and greet’ sessions with lots of farmyard friends in our barn throughout each day. For Easter we’re even running these with some of our chickens from the Hen Hatchery! Make sure you check out our blackboards at the entrance of the barn to see the daily schedule so you don’t miss out on getting up close to some cheeky characters. We even have some adorable Easter chicks and various baby animals to say hello to – including goat kids, lambs and piglets. Just check out Oreo, our hand-reared goat kid in the video below:
12-12.30pm – The zoo team will be running a drop-in discovery table daily over the Easter school holidays, for guests to view an array of exciting zoo items and artifacts – and have the chance to chat to a keeper.
